"Creating the Copper Sink – a unique project of its kind in Israel and the world"

We are proud to present a unique project in Israel and the world that seeks to recreate the legendary copper basin, which was used by the priests in the Temple in Jerusalem. This unique creation, which seeks to awaken the mind, body and spirit, will be placed in the public space of the Holy City of Jerusalem and will incorporate innovative technology to revitalize water.

The sink will be designed and manufactured by the multidisciplinary artist Rinat Luke Elhayek , in collaboration with the "Shmayim" company, the initiator of the project .

The technology is from heaven and is based on knowledge from the Bible, expressed in both the commandments of the copper laver and the construction of the copper serpent, which are attributed to Moses our Lord.

The magnificent work will be created in a way that will bring physical and artistic expression to a heavenly idea of the will to receive and in order to

To make an impact in the world and will include 144,000 shining copper mirrors, in memory of the "mirrors of the tsubavat" as described in the biblical legend, in which the women of the people of Israel donated their personal mirrors, which they used to beautify themselves, for the purpose of building the Tabernacle.

In this transcendental project, personal mirrors will be created in which you will be reflected in the reflection of Israeli women throughout the world. Each woman and her facial expression, each woman and her unique reflection, each woman and her one light in the world, each woman's name and place will be engraved in a particle of the whole, as a symbol of the ancient practice of "half a shekel" - a part of the whole, the perfect, the peace.

"By women Israel was redeemed, and by women they will be redeemed" – this sentence embodies the power and strength inherent in women, a power that connects past, present, and future. Women, with their spiritual strength and their ability to unite and connect, play a central role in building a new and pure future.

The copper sink, in this project, emphasizes the special role of Jewish women from all over the world, who bring with them their unique light, each in her own way, and unite them all around the shared values of giving, unity, healing, and peace.

Every woman will be privileged to take part in the creation of the complete sink, every woman who purchases one of the copper mirrors will be invited to the "Eighth Thousand Meeting" where all 144,000 women will offer a joint prayer on the edge of the Pool of Siloam in Jerusalem, and at its culmination, all the mirrors will be joined in their place, filling in the gaps, in exemplary order and meticulous precision.

This is a project that embraces all parts of the people and all shades of society – women from all sectors and faiths, all partners in the process of creating a pure and unified space, in the entirety of Jerusalem, "Yerushalom" – the city of peace.

From a shithole to a building - the idea of the copper sink was born out of the destruction of the Temple, whose echo continues to resonate in the national consciousness of the Jewish people to this day. In the era in which we live, especially after the events of October 7, Israeli society needs comfort and healing more than ever. The public space, as an integral part of our existence, offers an opportunity to bring about tangible change, which has the power to resonate from the outside to the inside and help heal the old and new pain that met and arouse both old and new wounds.

This is not a public sculpture, no matter how beautiful it may be, but a masterpiece that transcends opinions, genders, and borders, one that has the power to instill a sense of healing and renewal into the public sphere and Israeli society. This is a project that touches the depths of the collective soul, and offers a space for connection, repair, and transcendence from the fracture.

Living water in the public space - The purified living water that will flow in the sink will be a symbol of life itself, of purity and the feminine power that connects the edges of society. Water, as pure energy, can purify not only the body, but also the space and the soul, and unite all shades, religions and opinions. In Jerusalem, the city of peace, water will serve as a medium that connects the past and the future, between people, ideas and souls.

The water flowing in the sink, in collaboration with the advanced technology of the "Sky - Living Water" company, will create a connecting and meaningful public space, where everyone can drink from the water, be charged with positive energy, and feel part of the whole.

Why water? The connection between the copper sink and living water is not accidental. Sky is upper water, it expresses the higher mind – the broad perspective, which allows a comprehensive view like a bird's flight in all directions of the wind, towards the distant horizon, while seeing the complete picture.

Water is the lifeblood of creation, it is the bearer of its vitality and renewal. It is the force that pulsates in every living thing, and therefore also symbolizes healing and repair. It is no coincidence that in the blessing of food it is said: "What you drink will be for healing." Water is capable of healing, as studies from the last decade have revealed that it is a bearer of memory. The power of the water, pulsating in the copper sink, can heal not only the body but also the soul, and assist in a deep social healing process, which is essential at this time.

The sink will be a focal point and a living spring for healing, unity, and connection, a force that leads to inner and outer peace, thanks to the connection of women, water, and Jerusalem, which makes it possible to bring healing and unity to all of us.

A Lubavitcher Rabbi (Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson) would greatly emphasize the role of the Jewish woman in redemption.

This project is not only a memory from the ancient past, but also a bridge to the future, honoring their role

The centerpiece of women in the physical and spiritual worlds. It expresses the strength in unity and the beauty in diversity. Together, this wonderful sink will stand as a symbol of hope, purity and connection for generations to come.

May the copper sink resonate not only in our country but throughout the entire world and spread infinite light throughout all the worlds.
