About the system
What is the Shammaim "Sophia" system?
A copper system installed once on the home's main water line. All water entering the home flows through it in a spiral motion in a figure-8 copper pipe, inspired by the way water flows in nature, and continues to every tap.
What is living water?
Living water is a concept from the ancient sources: the flowing water of a spring or stream. Today some also use it to describe "structured water". There is reason to believe that water's structure and movement have an effect, but these are early indications that still need large-scale scientific validation.
Why the whole home and not just one tap?
Because most of the water we meet at home is in the shower, the bath, cooking and laundry, not only in the drinking glass.
Does Sophia replace my water bar or filter?
It can. A water bar gives you clean water in the glass, but depleted water. Sophia can replace filters and water bars, or work alongside them, whichever suits you.
How is Sophia different from filtration systems?
Filtration systems remove contaminants at one tap and give you clean water, but depleted water. Sophia works on the movement of water throughout the home. It can replace them, or work alongside them.
Does the system change pH or add minerals?
Changing pH is not the goal, and the system does not add artificial minerals.
Does the system remove medications, hormones or metals?
We do not claim that Sophia removes such substances. If you want extra filtration, you can combine Sophia with a bar or filter.
User experience
Does the water taste better?
Many customers describe a softer, more pleasant taste. These are personal experiences.
Is there an effect on skin and hair?
Users report less dryness after showering. These are personal experiences, not research results.
Does Sophia reduce limescale?
Some users report less limescale. This experience has not yet been tested in broad research.
Is there a health effect?
We do not claim any medical effect. There is reason to believe that water quality and movement have an effect, but these are early indications that still need large-scale scientific validation.

What is the warranty?
A full 10-year manufacturer's warranty.
Does it need maintenance, electricity or filter replacement?
No.
How long does installation take?
Usually a few hours, by a professional.
Does the system affect water pressure?
No.
Is it suitable for an apartment, a house, a rental or a business?
Yes. And if you move, the system can be removed and taken with you.
Is there service nationwide and shipping abroad?
Yes.
Can I pay in installments?

Is the system made in Israel?
