Fluoridation in Israel

Fluorination:
Why do we do fluoridation?
Water fluoridation is a process in which fluoride is added to drinking water in small doses in order to prevent tooth decay.
(teeth). The idea behind water fluoridation is to improve public health, especially in populations where there is a high incidence of
High rates of tooth decay and lack of easy access to dental care. Fluoride strengthens the enamel, the outer layer of the tooth,
Thus reducing the chance of cavities forming in the teeth.
Water fluoridation began in the United States in the 1940s and is now widespread in many countries around the world.
However, the use of fluoride is controversial in some places due to health concerns and different perceptions.
Regarding government intervention in public health
An answer I received from the chat regarding a question I asked him about whether there are countries where there is no fluoridation:
"There are countries where there is no water fluoridation or where they have stopped the fluoridation process. The reasons for this are varied and include
Health concerns, cultural differences, environmental issues, and differing perceptions of the government's role in health
The public."
Study shows no clear benefit of fluoridation for dental problems

Fluorine is a very reactive element and therefore dangerous to the human body.

Fluorine is the most electronegative element!!
Therefore, it is very reactive and can melt stones and even steel.
It is used in industry to produce fertilizers and even to enrich uranium and to produce high-octane fuel and even insecticides.
In an experiment on rats, all those who consumed fluoride had offspring with retarded behavior.
Research has shown that fluoride harms children's development:
Children who grow up in areas with high levels of fluoride in their water are 5 times more likely to develop IQ.

The FDA also defines fluoride as a drug, so by definition it poisons the population.

What are the problems with fluoridation?

The Fluoride Scam Book:

Toothpaste

Drinking is allowed, swallowing is prohibited.

If you look closely at the toothpaste packaging, you will find a warning with a more or less uniform wording: “Not for use by children under 3 years of age. Use by children aged 3-7 in an amount of paste no larger than the size of a pea, and under adult supervision to prevent swallowing the paste.” The pea-sized amount of paste contains 0.2 milligrams of fluoride. How exactly does this unequivocal warning align with the Ministry of Health’s recommendation for children to drink tap water? Toothpaste manufacturers are well aware that swallowing fluoride may be dangerous for children, and therefore they warn against swallowing an amount larger than the size of a pea. A simple calculation shows that the level of fluoride a child could receive from swallowing such an amount is 0.2 milligrams – the same level he would receive if he drank one glass of water. So where is the logic here? A child is allowed to drink fluoridated water, but he is not allowed to swallow the paste?

Although the report was published in March 2006, and even the American Dental Association (known as a staunch supporter of fluoridation) changed its recommendations for fluoride intake among infants as a result, the Israeli Ministry of Health chose to ignore it. Although Israel is one of only two countries in the world that requires the fluoridation of drinking water by law (the other country is Ireland), no one in the Ministry of Health bothered to inform the public about the possible risks of fluoridation.

The one who did bother, and even came to Israel specifically to do so, is Prof. Paul Conte. Conte, a chemistry expert who has dedicated his life to vigorous advocacy around the world for the past 22 years on the treatment of industrial waste, spent ten years researching the toxicity of fluoride and came to a clear conclusion: not only is it a substance hazardous to health, but its effectiveness in preventing tooth decay is also highly questionable .

Today, Conte serves as the executive director of an organization he founded to fight fluoridation, FAN - Fluoride Action Network. He came to Israel at the invitation of the green organizations - "Adam Teva Ve Din", "The Public Health Coalition" and the "Green Trend" organization. The bottom line he presented at the conference in Israel is blunt but clear: water fluoridation is one of the biggest scams in the health sector .

Fluorination under duress

Fluoride is the active ingredient in toothpaste, which helps prevent tooth decay, especially in children. Fluoridation is a process in which fluoride is added to drinking water at a concentration of at least 1 milligram per liter of water (1 ppm – 1 part per million). In Israel, the maximum permitted concentration of fluoride is 1.7 milligrams per liter of water .

In the United States, the idea of fluoridation arose in the late 1930s, as part of a public health policy to reduce tooth decay, and it has been implemented since 1950. In Israel, the water fluoridation policy began in the mid-1980s, and in 2001 the Knesset enacted a special regulation requiring the fluoridation of drinking water in every locality with at least 5,000 residents.

This means that municipalities have no discretion in the matter – they are required to fluoridate their water by law. In addition, water filters of all kinds cannot filter fluoride from drinking water. “This decision makes fluoridation not only ineffective and unsafe, but also unethical,” Conte argues. “It effectively allows governments to do to the entire community what no doctor should do to their patient: force a drug on them without ‘informed consent.’ In the case of fluoridation, the public neither receives all the data and information about the risks of fluoridation nor can they choose whether to agree to it or not.”
